Common Areas
The dining room features two beautiful live edge tables that seat a total of 25 guests, making it easy for everyone to enjoy meals together.
The property has been fully redesigned with many modern and comfortable amenities.
We have several Roku Smart TVs throughout the house which allow you to log into your own account and enjoy a wide variety of content from popular platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and more.
For the coffee lovers, we have a full coffee bar, complete with. three coffee machines (drip and K-cup) so you can help yourself to a fresh cup whenever you like. And yes, coffee is included!
Entertainment
Step into our game room equipped with a Pac-Man arcade machine, foosball table, and an Infinity game table with a wide selection of digital games for all to enjoy.
There is also a billiards table as well as a variety of board games and jigsaw puzzles for everyone to enjoy.
Bedrooms
The property has nine bedrooms, each equipped with its own bathroom featuring brand new chair-height toilets. In 2023, the bedrooms were completely redesigned, and nearly all of the beds and mattresses were replaced to ensure a great night's sleep!
For guests who do not like to climb stairs, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor (Note that they do require two steps up and down).
Outdoor Space
Situated on a one-acre lot with plenty of lush greenery, this property is located right at the trailhead of a hiking path, winding through the charming former ski slopes of Mill Ridge Ski mountain. As the day draws to a close, enjoy the company of friends and family by gathering around the fire pit, enjoying s'mores or engaging in lively conversations to cap off a perfect day.
The property is a part of the friendly Mill Ridge community with outstanding facilities including a pool and tennis courts which are accessible to guests during the summer months.

Area Activities
Banner Elk, North Carolina, offers a plethora of exciting activities for visitors to enjoy amidst its picturesque beauty. Nature enthusiasts can explore the nearby Grandfather Mountain and indulge in hiking, wildlife spotting, and breathtaking vistas.
In the winter months, skiing and snowboarding at the renowned Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain resorts are a must.
Fishing is another fantastic activity that visitors can enjoy while in the area. The area boasts numerous pristine rivers and streams, such as the Elk River and Linville River, that offer excellent opportunities for fishing enthusiasts.

Hello! We live in Orange County, California. Mike spent a few years in North Carolina at Duke University. In our spare time, we love spending time with our two kids, who are 4 and 6.
We aim to provide the best possible experience to all visitors through excellent service. Nothing is more reassuring and calming than finding a place that feels like a second home on your travels.
Feel free to book or message us first; We are happy to answer any specific questions in advance.
We also love to travel and have spent time in faraway places such as Australia, Thailand, the Galapagos Islands, Europe, and Bora Bora. We love to stay in hotels as well as short-term rentals, and we know what hosts should do to create a comfortable experience. Our goal is to fulfill these requirements for every guest.
